During the first 4 weeks of this term, students will review and extend the range of specialised knowledge, understanding and skills in the area of food and nutrition. The course will be based on the Australian Guidelines for Healthy Eating and include a practical component which utilises the design process. The design process involves students following a process to develop solutions to nutrition-based scenarios. Students will be able to apply their skills, understanding and knowledge to take positive action to enhance their own and others’ health, safety and wellbeing.
